Responsibilities

  • Analyze systems to determine software, hardware and system needs for the company, including consulting with end-users and setting up procedures for system specs.
  • Handle research, comparisons, and recommend different technologies that will keep the network highly efficient and stay within departmental budgets.
  • Develop and maintain all systems, applications, security, phone system and network configurations
  • Troubleshoot network performance issues
  • Assist users and/or other IT specialists with PC issues
  • Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and clients
  • Responsible for the training and continual education of end-users and IS staff.
  • Responsible for maintenance of ALL warranties and licenses for all software and hardware utilized for company business.
  • Responsible for maintaining an efficient system for turning around networking and equipment work requests in a timely manner. An adequate store of frequently used components must be kept on hand and restocked as needed to reduce user down time.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining systems and documentation that support compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements..
  • Remain up to date and familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects within the allotted time.
  • Maintain just exactly the amount of necessary supplies needed.
  • Enter into a tracking system support ticketsĀ  and their resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
